On Sunday we drove from Edinburgh to London. We had several stops along the way though. We stopped at Hadrian's wall and got to see a Roman fort. We also drove through the lake district and stopped in Grassmere where William Wordsworth (poet) was from. It was such a beautiful drive through that area, so green.
We arrived at our London flat without any problems, which is surprising because the roads in England are much narrower. (we had a few close calls close to Hadrian's wall). The flat was bigger than the one we stayed at in Scotland, but it was tricky parking our large van in the small parking area. The flat had a pool and a game room, the kids loved swimming there.
