We joined the Clemson Club for the annual clean up day at Mt. Vernon again this year. It is pretty fun to get to go and help out on the grounds President Washington lived on. We were able to help with a bunch of tree removal and clean up of some of the property,learn how to age some of those REALLY old trees, and it is always fun to spend time with Tiger fans.
Luckily, it looks worse than it is! After church a few kids were running around in the gym and one of the boys threw a bouncy ball and it hit Tessa right in the eye on accident. We didn't know it would give her a black eye. The boy felt so bad, he wrote an apology note and drew Tess a picture.
Hoppy Easter! The kiddos were SO excited to get bikes for Easter this year! Grandma Rygmyr bought them all bikes that are their favorite colors, she nailed it!We had a great Easter day, and after church, we practised riding the bikes!
YUM!! This town smells like chocolate! Breathe it in!! For Spring Break, we decided to join our friends, the Jensen family (Brad, Jami, Kason & James) on a trip up to Hershey Pennsylvania. Jami, the kids and I went up on Friday and enjoyed Chocolate World, then David and Brad came up Friday night and we all went to Hershey Park on Saturday!
