The falls of Idaho Falls

Yesterday Aunt Llew and mommy took Nathan and Anderson to the Idaho Falls Greenbelt to feed the ducks and geese. First we saw the falls. Nathan liked them, but it was a little loud he said.

Then off to feed the ducks. There were some baby goslings there that Nate tried to feed, but the mom and dad hissed at him. Nathan kept bothering them until they all got in the water.

After we were out of bread Nathan decided to chase all the ducks and geese until they were all in the water.

Adventures with grandpa

Nathan got to go to the Rigby airport with grandpa the other day. He had a lot of fun playing with the planes and even watching one take off!

Those are the kinds of adventures you get to go on if your grandpa is the airport board president!

Yellowstone

Warning: lots of pictures in this post.
Grandma and I took Nathan and AJ to Yellowstone Bear World to see some bears, and we saw LOTS of them! And some other animals too.

The bear cubs were so cute and playful.

They had some rides there, the only one Nathan was interested in was the train, until we left then he wanted to ride the bear ride (it was broken anyway so he couldn't).

Not quite as tall as a grizzly bear.

Nathan got to pet and feed the deer. We picked some grass and they ate it out of our hands.

This baby deer really liked Anderson. He kept trying to lick him, and eat him. The deer got AJ's fingers in his mouth at one point for a few seconds. AJ didn't know what to think.

A few days later we drove to Jackson to see Aunt Heather and go to Yellowstone.
Playing at the park with Aunt Heather.

Showing Aunt Heather the water in her backyard (that is the Snake River).

Nathan thought Scott's cowbell was pretty fun to play with.

On our way to Yellowstone

Waiting for the geyser

Old Faithful

Although Nathan seems to be paying attention and enjoying the geyser, he spent most of the time trying to put his feet in the mud off the boardwalk that he was told not too.  He had been talking about the geyser for a couple of months, and when it came down to it, he was more interested in playing rather than watching the geyser. I forgot to get pictures of AJ watching, but I think his mouth was open the whole time.

Playing in the snow on our way back to Jackson.

Beautiful!

I miss these mountains

We had a fun trip to Grand Teton And Yellowstone Parks. I think we are going to try to go again when Bonnie's family gets here next week (since we got a FREE year pass to all National Parks- thanks military).
By the way, it might snow here this weekend- hopefully not, we did not prepare for that!
