One more Nathan picture (he's not to bad).

The tiger cubs playing

One of the tiger cubs got right up by the glass. I started playing peek-a-boo  with him, and he pounced the window at me.
A picture of him pouncing me, after I fell backwards because it scared me.

Too cute!

Snuggling his new zebra Aunt Llew got him

We saw this idea on Pintrest, and decided to make they yummy snack. Apples, peanut butter and marshmallows. Too silly.
We had a really fun visit with Aunt Llew while she was here. We are glad that we were able to spend her birthday with her, and we are looking forward to seeing her (and grandpa & grandma Anderson, Aunt Heather and cousin Braedon) in a few more months!
We love you Aunt Llew!

Banana time

I found this post in my drafts that went unpublished. I thought they were cute pictures of Nathan. They were taken Jan 31, 2010.

Happy birthday Aunt Llew!

For Aunt Llew's birthday this year she came down to spend it with us in Georgia! Aunt Llew got in Friday night and Aunt Bonnie & Uncle Russ, Jake, Kyler and Zoey all came over Saturday night (or Sunday morning depending on how you look at it). We started out her birthday with a yummy confetti pancake breakfast.

For lunch we had a front porch picnic in the mid 60* weather. After lunch we had a little nap time before the "Monster Party" began.

The kids were so excited to fill the pinata, mostly because they wanted to touch aas much candy as possible.

Kyler giving Nate a ride. Kyler is a better driver, but not a whole lot better than Nathan.
Kyler's swing was the one to break open the pinata. we had to hit it off a bucket, because we didn't make it strong enough to be held up by any string.
After stuffing Bonnie's pockets with candy, she went and got Bonnie's purse and started filling it with as much candy as she could (hoarder).
After the pinata we went in and had some birthday ice cream cake. Nathan helped Aunt Llew blow out the candles on the cake. It was a great Monster Party, and we are glad that Aunt Llew came to spend it with us! Happy 35th birthday Aunt Llew, we love you!

Nathan wanted to hold his brother. I told him to go sit on the couch and I would bring him over. Nathan didn't agree with that, he wanted to carry him to the couch. He did a good job. He got to the couch with him and put AJ up on the cushions before he decided he was too tired to hold him anymore. Nathan was so proud of himself though!
Also, Nathan has taken up photography. As much as I hate him holding my camera, he is actually pretty good with it. He puts the strap around his neck and holds it up to look through it. He doesn't just point and shoot. After a few shots though, I get uneasy about him with it, and take it away. This is one of the pictures he took.

Nathan's first Primary talk

Nathan was asked to give the talk in Primary today. His topic was "Nephi was blessed for choosing the right".
Here is a copy of his first talk.
There are many things that Heavenly Father wants s to do: grow up, go to school, go on missions, get married and have our own families. In order for us to receive all the blessings He wants to give us though, He has told us that we need to obey His rules and be courageous in following His commands.
Nephi was a great example of how to be obedient and courageous. After walking many miles through the wilderness, Heavenly Father told Lehi, Nephi's daddy, that they needed to go back and get the plates Laban was keeping. Laman and Lemuel did not want to make the long walk again. Nephi trusted in the Lord enough to be obedient to his commands, and to stand up courageously to his brothers. He had to stand up to them again when Laban's servants tried to kill them outside of Jerusalem. Throughout Nephi's life, he was courageous and obedient o the Lords commands, even when those around him made fun of him and tried to hurt him.
I hope we can all be like Nephi and choose to follow Heavenly Father and do what is right. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

Daddy wasn't able to be there to hear it (so he wrote the talk instead), but Nathan did a great job. He said it all and mostly talked into the mic. For a three year old, he did such a great job. I am so proud of him! Good job Nate, we love you.
