Matching Easter outfits

We had to wear our matching Easter outfits this last Sunday, because this Sunday is general conference. I made both David and Nathans ties. I was gong to make me a matching headband, but I ran out of time. I think they turned out really cute, if I do say so myself.

Family pictures

Backyard fun...not ours though.

Last weekend we were over at some friends house. They have a great backyard for kids to play in. Nathan has never really liked slides before, but he had so much fun on their swing set. Thanks Katie for having your camera ready to catch these awesome pictures.

Touch-a-truck

Living in Kennesaw is the best! They always have fun things going on for kids and families. This weekend they had their annual touch-a-truck. They have lots of different trucks there for kids to come and climb in and on and honk the horns. They had army trucks, fire trucks, ambulances, school buses, cement trucks dump trucks, and lots more. Nathan had fun, since he can say "truck", he was saying it and pointing the whole time. It was a lot of fun. We are looking forward to the Easter egg hunt next Saturday. Stay tuned for more pictures!

Savannah 2010

We went down to Savannah for St. Patrick's day again this year. We had lots of fun. Nathan made friends with all of the hotel staff, everyone knew him by name. While we were there we watched some Rugby games, saw alligators and talking birds, got caramel apples, did lot of walking, went to a (crappy) aquarium, and watched the big parade. Here are some pictures of our adventure! At the parade! The parade started at 10:15, and we were sitting near the end of it. It took an hour and a half for the parade to reach us. It was huge this year! They had over 80 bands this year, and a lot of those were bagpipes! I love bagpipes! Nathan got tired half way through and fell asleep- even with all the noise. The helicopter picture is the one that David's unit was using. He didn't get to go in it this year, but he was in it all last year, so that was ok with him.

This is us walking around some of the squares. Since it was St. Patrick's week they color all of the fountains green.
I like this picture with the huge Catholic church in the background. We went inside it because I had never been in one before. It was really pretty. The ceiling looked like a Faberge Egg and all of the molding was marble. If you will also notice in that picture, the lady sitting by the fountain was taking a picture of Nathan with her camera phone. Weird.

We played on the field behind our hotel.

These pictures were taken at the maritime museum. The museum itself was closed, but we walked around the grounds and had fun looking at the koi fish.

These pictures were taken at the aquarium we went to on Skidaway Island. There were only 8 tanks at the aquarium and each tank had 5 fish in it (one of the tanks only had 1 lobster in it). The best part was the nature trail outside. We saw this silly bird who let us get way to close to it, and this 300 year old live oak that they were holding it together with re-bar. Good thing it only cost $4.

Here is Nathan showing the baby in the mirror his hands.
I can't wait to go again next year!

At the park

The weather has been really nice the last couple of weeks, so on day we went to the park to play. It was lots of fun. Nathan slid on the slides (he likes it a lot more now than he used to), and we ran around and we watched the dogs playing in the dog park. Nathan really liked watching the "puppy", even though most of them were really big dogs.
