Merry Christmas to all!

Nathan had a great Christmas! He got lots of presents from family and from Santa Claus. He got and ice cream truck walker/rider, books, puzzles, a cell phone (he is so popular, girls are always asking for his number), a music table, some blocks and a book all about Nathan. He had a great Christmas this year (much better than last year when he just laid around and slept). We had a yummy french toast breakfast, video called grandpa & grandma Anderson his aunts and cousins, played with new toys and then went and fed the ducks with Andrew. Great grandpa and grandma Roberts came over for some Christmas dinner. It was such a fun day. We missed grandpa & grandma Rygmyr and aunt Kristen and aunt Caitlin while they were in Florida visiting great grandpa & grandma Rygmyr.

Daddy got new speakers for his truck, books, a up-converting DVD player and a this new gun that mommy bought him. He sure does like it!

Mommy got a bag for her new camera (that was part of her birthday and part of her Christmas), a super cute jacket and these diamond earrings that daddy gave her.

Happy birthday Andrew!

Today is our son Andrew's 2nd birthday. Nathan and I went to go see him today and feed the ducks and geese with him. (David is out of town this week so he couldn't go) They finished the pathway that they have been talking about doing for two years. It looks really good. Andrew has a new friend there now too. Another little boy has a memorial rock next to him. There were about 60 geese there today. They kind of sacred Nathan because they kept trying to steal his bread out of his hand. Nathan had lots of fun though.
Happy birthday Andrew. We love you very much. We are so grateful to know that we are an eternal family, and that we will see you again. We miss you lots.

World of Coke

Nathan and I went to The World of Coke today. We had so much fun. Nathan had lots of fun with the polar bear. He snuggled right up to him, and sat on his lap for 10 minutes. After that we went and saw the big Coke Christmas tree. We took lots and lots of pictures, here is a sampling of them, with a little holiday flair.

Nathan,
Happy birthday Nate! One year ago today you came into our lives. It has been such a wonderful year. You have always been such a happy little guy. I feel so blessed that I get to stay at home with you and watch you grow everyday. You make me laugh and smile everyday. I am so grateful that you picked me to be your mommy. I thank Heavenly Father everyday for blessing me with you. Your laugh and smile can light up a room. You are such a friendly guy, you will go to anybody, even strangers. You have been walking for two weeks now, and you are all over the place. It is so fun to watch you learn new things. You are a curious kid, like your dad blessed you to be. The first word you said was da-da, then you learned to say tickle-tickle. You love music. It is so fun to watch you dance when one of your toys plays music, or you hear it on the t.v. or radio. You just rock side to side and smile. You love books. You love looking at them and reading them, just like your daddy. You have a very sweet personality. You bring so much joy and happiness into our home. I love you so much more than you could ever imagine. I am so grateful for eternal families, and that you have been sealed to us forever. I love you Nathan.
Love,
Mommy

Happy birthday baby Nate,

It has only been one year since you were just a wee little boy. You have learned so many things since then. Back when you were first born, you could only lay there and look around. Little by little you learned to hold your head up, how to sit up, how to say da-da, how to climb up the stairs, how to crawl and how to walk. You also have learned how to make messes, how to eat leaves, how to unravel the toilet paper, how to hit the spoon so that squash goes up the wall, and how to squirm so that it is nearly impossible to put clothes on you. you change so quickly, often when I come back from a trip you have learned a new trick, and you grow so quickly that you look different when I've been gone a few days. I am looking forward to many more years of you making messes and learning new tricks. I love you little guy

ZOO!

Nathan's Aunt Llew and I took Nathan to Zoo Atlanta today. It was a little chilly, so we bundled up. We had a really fun time looking at all the animals Nathan really liked the Elephant, the Rhino, and the Pandas. We even heard the big lion roar! Nate enjoyed looking at all the different animals, he was so tired after that he slept the whole way home.

In the childrens petting zoo, Nathan had fun looking at the goats and sheep, until one of the goats turned and looked at him. He decided after a while that they were ok and that he could pet them.

The Pandas kept walking right past the glass where Nathan was standing. He didn't really understand how cool that was though. He did have fun watching them wrestle and play.

Nathan and Aunt Llew watching the lemurs. They were so noisy, noisier than Nathan!
Here is the cutest mommy and baby meerkat you will ever see!

Silly Nathan

Here is a shot of his top teeth. You can't see the side ones, but they are both through now making his tooth total 6. And a picture of him wearing his Georgia Tech hat, his favorite team.

Nate is now in his "big boy" car seat. We put him in it on Saturday, about two weeks before his birthday. He likes facing forward, and we like it because it is easier to feed him snacks while driving. Here are some pictures of him playing on it before we got it assembled.

Now that Nathan is to big for his jumper, he has to find other ways to bounce, He found that he can jump pretty good in his old bouncy seat that he is also too big for.

Here is Nathan playing on the dishwasher. He loves to play with the silverware as I put them in there. Now I can't put themin the basket anymore because he takes the basket out completely.
