Tessa's best friends

Tessa makes friends so easily. We have been in our new ward (Butler Creek) for about a month. At our first R.S. presidency meeting, Tessa met her best friend, Lydia. They played together while we held our meeting and when we got home Tessa told me that Lydia was her best friend. Since then, I have started working out with Lydia's mom (Kyli)and the girls see each other 2 to 3 times a week. We also exercise with another mom (Allie) whose daughter (Lexi) is almost the same age. The 3 girls play so well tougher. I had all the girls come over for a play date one day after boot camp. They played and splashed and played some more.

Dance class is exhausting

Tessa loves her dance class, and it is adorable to watch them through the window. However, it must be tiring for a3 year old, she fell asleep in the car on the was home.

Visiting Andrew

We went to visit Andrew and feed the ducks ( and fish and turtles). We were so surprised to see how many turtles (at least 12) and large Koi (8) there are there, usually there are just a few of each. The Koi were aggressive getting the bread, even to the geese.

Piano practice

It is so fun to listen too Nathan practice piano. It is even more fun when David practices with him. I love the binding they are doing over the Star Wars theme song.

Project time

It has been a while since we did a project on the house, sooooo, we decided to terrace the fireplace. I thought it was going to be a big mess, breaking the old tiles off and repairing the dry wall behind it. David got a spackle spatula to try and much to our surprise, the tiles just popped off! It was not messy at all so we were able to start the resurfacing right away. We put Airstone on it and the project was done in about 24 hours. One of our fastest and easiest projects!
We love the transformation!

A scout tells a joke

This year Nathan's scout pack has combined the two Wolf dens. The other den had a tradition of telling jokes at the end of their den meetings. Nathan decided he had a joke to tell.

Dance shoes!

David and I took Tessa to go buy her dance shoes for her ballet and tap class she it's taking art the YMCA. Tessa was SO excited about it, SO excited! She was adorable trying them on.

Boosterthon time again

Nathan's school had their annual Boosterthon fundraiser. David, Tessa and I went to watch him run. He was running so lazily (granted, it was 95* outside). I bribed him with $1 if he could get all 35 of his laps. He did it!!

A quick trip to Texas for Braedon's wedding!

On Wednesday, I checked the kids out of school early and David drove us to the airport for our adventure to begin. The kids were really good in the airport and on the flight ( thank goodness because I was really outnumbered). When we arrived in San Antonio, grandma and aunt Bonnie were there to pick us up and drive us to Kerrville. The next few days were had a our of fun together. We went swimming, indoor sky diving, swimming some more, got pedicures, and age lots of yummy food while getting ready for the wedding.
Braedon's wedding was beautiful and a lot of fun. Everyone danced, ate good food and laughed. I am so happy for Braedon and Jade, and SO glad we could be there with them to celebrate!
