First Air Show

.

My dad and I took Nathan to his first Air Show. It was the Rexburg Annual Air Show held at the Rexburg, ID. airfield. We got there pretty late, but we were in time to see some P-51's and Corsair's fly around. We got there just as they were taking off, and it was so loud it scared Nathan (see picture with him crying). After they took off he was fine, and we enjoyed the formation flying they did. Then we had to hurry back to the car so we didn't get rained on (there has only been one day of our vacation that it has not rained so far).

Eating carrots

Nathan was eating his dinner the other night, tasty carrots. I fed him a big spoonful and as I put a big bite up to his mouth, he sneezed! Carrots went everywhere! They were all over him and all over me. He even managed to get some in his hair! It was pretty funny, but he didn't know what to think.

Great Grandma & Grandpa

Nathan met his Great Grandparents, (on his mom's side) yesterday. He loves them! They came over to Grandpa and Grandma's house for dinner. Hopefully we get to see lots more of them while we are here this summer.

Nate's first plane ride!

Nathan had his very first airplane ride today! We left Atlanta this morning at 8:20 a.m. and arrived in Idaho Falls at 12:30 p.m. Our morning started out paying 15$ to Delta to check a bag! Then they tried to charge me 90$ because my bag was 5lbs. overweight. Instead I took 5lbs out of my checked bag and put it into my carry-on. Then we went security and that went alright. The hard part about that was that I had to put the stroller on the conveyor belt, and I had to have the lady behind me hold Nathan. Nathan was so good on both of our flights. On our flight from Salt Lake to Idaho Falls, the seat next to us was open, so after take off I put Nate in it. He sat in the seat and played and talked the whole flight! We got in safely and didn't have any problems along the way! Good job Nathan, you did great!

The camera's love me!

We went to the Braves game tonight (Braves v. Pirates game 2) with Nathan's Aunt Kristen and Caitlin. It was a lot of fun, and, that's right... Nate was on the Jumbo-tron again! Turner Field loves Nathan! Out of the three games Nate has been to, he has made it on the Jumbo-tron twice!
And the Braves won! 4-3 Go Braves!

Pool time!

It was SO hot today (90*), so Nathan and I called some friends and went to our pool! Nate actually liked it this time, probably because it was so hot the cool water felt good. He sat in his turtle floatie for about half an hour. We had lots of fun, but he was wiped out after.
