The Buttles are in town!

Yay! The Buttles can to town for a week before heading to vacation in Florida. It was so much fun to see them again this year!

Turtle time

We were at our friends the Jenkins house for dinner on Sunday evening and our I their backyard the kids found a turtle. Nathan was the only one not scared to hold it. He held it for all the other kids to see and touch before letting it go again.

Flight of the Conchords

David and I decided we need to be more cultured. We decided to start by going to the Flight of the Conchords concert in Atlanta. It was a lot of fun. We laughed and sang along the whole night.

Heading back home via Iowa

On our way back home we took aunt Llew and Edna back to their house in Iowa first and stayed a day there. We had planned on being at Mt. Rushmore for their fireworks on the 4th of July. Unfortunately, they don't do fireworks there anymore. We were able to watch the fireworks in Rapid City, SD instead. They had a pretty food show. The next morning we drove around the city looking at the "presidents corners" and then off to Mt. Rushmore!
We spent a day in Des Moines and played at the splash park, rocket park and carousel before heading back to Georgia the next day. We made it home without any problems. I know many prayers were answered along our journey. The whole trip was amazing and filled with fun and many memories.
