Holiday visits make us happy!

Grandma, Aunt Kristen and Uncle Atkins came up for a quick visit after Christmas. We took them to see the National Museum of African American History and Culture. It was a very impressive museum, and gigantic too!

Christmas day

Christmas morning is always such a whirlwind and this Christmas was no different! But it is always so much fun! We opened presents and stockings. We did weird science and ate a delicious steak dinner before popping Christmas crackers. Unfortunately, aunt Llew had to go back home today, but she left is with one super awesome Christmas gift, and we are all so happy to welcome Dodger Turner Rygmyr to our family!

Puppy love and sightseeing

It was hard to not stay in and play with Dodger all day, but we had to take Aunt Llew out to see our new city, it was her first time in Maryland. We took her to see a few local sights and we brought Dodger along. We took Llew to see 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, the National Christmas tree, the Washington Monument, WWII memorial and the Lincoln memorial before the cold rain started coming. Luckily, we had the stroller and pushed the 3 kids and Dodger back to the car after a full day. We didn't get to see everything aunt Llew wanted to, so that means she has to come back and visit again!
