New paint

One of the major things we wanted to accomplish before we put the house on the market, was painting the whole interior. We finally settled on a color, agreeable grey, and David took the week of Fall break off so we could work on it. To say it was a big project was an understatement! The ceiling in the living room is REALLY high. David did all the edging and I rolled it all. We were able to get all the rooms ( except the basement) done in the one week we had. It looks great, I wish we would have done it sooner so that we could enjoy it more.

Our last game at Turner Field!

We went to our last game at Turner Field with our friends the Tubbs family. We had such a fun time. We watched some of the game, had lots of potty breaks, ran the base and took pictures with the Home Depot tools. It was such a great last time at Turner Field!! Goodbye Turner Field, thanks for all the memories.
Sidenote: earlier in the day while cleaning out some stuff, I found my ticket stub from my very first game at Turner Field. I took it with me and got a picture with my first and last tickets!

The DC Super Friends!

I love these two super friends! They have so much fun when they play together.

A quick trip to Augusta

David's first medical school interview at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta. The kids were on Fall break so David invited us all to come with him. We made the drive Sunday after church. We had a super huge hotel room to stay in, it had two sleeper sofas. Monday morning we drove David over to the school and went back to the hotel where the kids played for a few hours. We drove around the city a bit to check it out. There were some nice areas and some ghettos. There was a nature area with a pump house and visitor center so we went to check it out. We had a fun nature walk, and along the way, AJ dang the whole ABC song by himself! After our walk, we went and got a late lunch and took it to the school to wait for David to finish up. As we sat there eating, David finished up and we headed home.

Cub scout lake clean-up

Nathan's pack helped in the Lake Allatoona clean up. We got there a bit early and played on the playground before it started. All the kids had fun practicing their balance and climbing skills.
