Mummy

Nathan was watching one of his shows (Bubble Guppies), it was the Halloween episode and one of the characters was dressed up as a mummy. Nathan asked what a mummy was, so we decided to show him. We dressed him up and told him that mummy's don't talk.

That is one scary looking mummy!

Silly eyes

We were playing with googly eyes yesterday, and these are some of the silly faces we made.

Uncle Shucks Corn Maze

Bonnie's kids were over at our house this weekend and since Saturday was Jakes 13th birthday we decided to do something fun. We headed off to Uncle Shucks Corn Maze in Dawsonville. They had 3 different sections of the maze and 12 checkpoints to find. It proved to be quite difficult. We "lost" Jake right off the bat (he found some other boys to go off with). David took Kyler and I had Zoey, Nate and AJ. Needless to say, David and Kyler found more checkpoints than my group did. We had a lot of fun getting very lost though.

AJ fell asleep in the stroller while we were wandering around aimlessly.
While David, Jacob and Kyler went to solve the mystery of who killed the farmer (it was the chicken with the pitchfork in the pumpkin patch) my group headed to the little kids play area. They all had a lot of fun climbing all over the tires, rolling in the hay and doing the mini maze.

He is such a happy boy!

They had a corn cannon there too, so the kids got a chance to try to hit a car with cobs of corn.

They didn't want to leave without looking at the pumpkins, so we did that too.
I even got a picture of Jake kind of smiling (even though he wouldn't admit that he had fun).

We had a lot of fun with Jake, Kyler and Zoey and we are glad that they could come spend the weekend with us.

Game ball!

Last night was Nathan's last regular season baseball game. While he still has problems paying attention in the field, he did really great with two hit and a RBI (one off the pitch and one off the tee). His team did great last night and almost beat the number one team. Coach Latimer always gives one of the boys the game ball after the game, last night Nathan got the ball! He was super excited. When the coach brought them in for the cheer, Nathan would not even hand us the ball. He held on to it so tight, it was really cute.

Nathan was kissing his ball

He was so happy. Getting the game ball made his whole season.
Good job Nate, we are very proud of you!

Pumpkin patch

Family fun at the pumpkin patch
We usually go to the Shriners Pumpkin Patch, but they weren't having one this year, so instead we went to the Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch instead. We had a lot of fun, mostly with the little red wagon.

Nathan did not want to sit at the back of the wagon, as you can see he was very upset.

 Sweet brothers!

 Cute like Daddy.

Nathan took this one for us.
 Ha ha

 So happy!
 So sweet!
