haircuts & cute brother pictures

I know that to anyone who reads this, that the boys getting haircuts is pretty boring, BUT today, Nathan had the best haircut of his life. He sat for the whole thing WITHOUT crying! In our house, that is a huge feat. Nathan always screams like he is being murdered when we cut his hair, but this time, he was our brave shiny knight!

AJ got a haircut too, but for him (so far) they aren't that big of a deal

We took some cute brother pictures the other day. I put the green background behind them thinking that it would look cute, but didn't think about it being a "green screen". So maybe in the future, we will have some funny pictures made.

This was AJ sleeping the other day, and I thought it was so cute I took a picture. I really like how the picture turned out.
David cut himself with a knife trying to cut some plastic tubing for the turtle tank. (side note- we don't have a turtle in the tank and can't get one for a couple more days, but the tank is ready for him this time).
It looks a little worse than it is because there is ointment on it, but he should have had stitches.

AJ is nine months

Anderson went to his 9 month well check on Monday. They pricked his finger for blood and he never cried, he just observed what the nurse was doing. Then he had to get two shots. I held his hands while he gave the nurse a concerned look. She got him once in each leg, as soon as she poked him he started crying, but as soon as she was done and I picked him up he stopped just as suddenly as he started. He was a champ!
His stats:
Height- 28 1/2 inches (55%)
Weight- 20lb 15oz. (72%)
Head circumference- 17 1/2 in. (32%)

Poor turtle

Well, we had a turtle. Quack died today. We are not sure why. Nathan doesn't really get it, but he is asking for a new turtle already.

We got a....

Turtle! And his name is Quack!
Last night we went to the Braves game, and we had to park in a different parking lot (Grey lot, we usually park in the blue lot). When we were walking in, one of the street vendors selling water and t-shirts, said, "get your turtle here!" What! Nathan said, "I want a turtle", and David said, "I always wanted a turtle". We asked the man if he would be there after the game and he said yes.
Soooo, after the game we got a pet turtle, and Nathan named him Quack.

Quack's new habitat

Yesterday morning, bright and early, David and I drove downtown and met grandpa Rygmyr to run the Braves Father's day 4-miler. This was my very first run/race ever. I had a good time. I would do it again. I couldn't quite keep the pace that David and Lance did, but that is ok.
The race started by the stadium and went around Grant Park and ended back at the stadium on the warning track by home plate. This is a picture just after I finished the race, I was standing on the warning track at Turner Field. It looks so much bigger when your on the field!
 The race results-
David-54th place, #763 overall, time 41:27
Lance- 62nd place, #764 overall, time 41:28
Audrey- 72nd place, #1086 overall, time 49:29
After the race we had a yummy cookout at grandpa and grandma Rygmyrs, then of to the Braves game. Unfortunately the Braves lost to the Orioles, boo. It was a fun Father's day for us!

Pirattitude!

We played pirate dress up the other day. Nathan by far was the fiercest pirate!
His mean pirate look!

Making the scurvy daddy walk the plank.

Who wouldn't be scared of this face?

A scary pirate sporting some Wyoming pride (even though it is a land-locked state).

Yo ho ho!

Other Idaho pictures

We had some family pictures taken just after Braedons graduation. I think they turned out pretty good
 Cousins
My "little buddy" isn't so little anymore
 Braedon and Heather
Braedon with his mom and aunts
grandpa & grandma with Braedon (grandpa is still taller, but only by an inch).
 ADORABLE!
 Anderson
 Nathan
Grandpa & grandma brought back Jelly Belly shirts for all the grand kids from their recent trip to California.
We made a slip-n-slide for the kids, bt in true fashion, we had more fun on it than they did.
It snowed on us in Island Park. Nate trying to catch snowflakes on his tongue with Kyler.
As we were leaving I.P. we saw a moose. A little baby eating in the river.
After we got back from I.P. AJ decided he could stand on his own. This is him doing it one of his first few times.
With big grandpa & grandma Ross

With my grandma & grandpa

I think that is all the pictures from our month long adventure in Idaho with grandpa & grandma Anderson. We are sure glad we were able to see everybody, and be there for Braedon's graduation.
