It has been so hard for us to get a picture of A.J. with his eyes open for two reasons. One- he sleeps all the time, and two- he has eye fat that makes it hard for him to open them too wide! Anyway, David was able to get a few the other day. They look like they are going to be blue, like mommy and Nathan. And here are a couple of pictures of my boys! They are all so cute!

A.J. at the hospital
Here are some more pictures of Anderson at the hospital.
His tiny toes!
Look at all that hair!
Here is Nathan giving his baby brother his present, a stuffed elephant. Nathan had to wear a bracelet that said "big brother", he thought that was pretty cool.
Nathan was so tiny in newborn size clothes, looks like A.J. will probably only get to wear them for a few weeks.
Nathan wanted to see baby A.J.'s toes, he got so excited about them.
Nathan playing with the computer that his brother gave him. He was excited to get a present from his baby brother.

BABY AJ
Hello everyone, this is David making my first post as Audrey is very tired and not in the mood for posting pictures.
This morning, I got up, went to work, did PT and was about to start getting ready for the day when I got the text from Audrey that the baby was probably going to come today. After a little while, we were all ready and took Nate to go stay at Katie's house We finally go situated in our room at 1:00 pm, and Audrey got comfortable. Little Anderson James finally came at 7:39 pm, and he weighed 8 pounds 7 ounces. Here are some pictures of right after he was born, and some with his family.

Let's go fly a kite!
Nathan got a kite from Monkey Joe's (an indoor jump place), his first kite ever. He was so excited to use it. When daddy came home he put it together and showed Nathan how to use it.
This is Nathan saying "Oh man! No wind." He was having such a fun time trying to fly the kite, but there was no wind so we had to stop. It made Nathan very sad, but we told him we would try to fly it again when there is wind.
When Nathan got the kite he kept saying "My very first kite", it was pretty cute.

A.J.'s baby shower
David's unit (4th CST) FRG had a baby shower for Anderson. It was very nice of them to do that for us, since we are having another boy. Since A.J.'s room is robot themed the shower was robot themed too. It was so cute, they had robots all over the place- little wind up robots and robot ducks on the diaper cake, robot named food and robots hanging all over.
The hostess- Wendy Strickland, she did such a great job!
Anderson got lots of clothes and tons of diapers. It was a really fun day, and I am glad that my sister Bonnie, my sister in law Caitlin and my mother in law were all able to be there too.

Daddy time!
Daddy took a week of vacation this last week so we could do some work around the house that has been neglected. Nathan has loved every minute of it. He has wanted to do everything that daddy does.
Here are some pictures of them playing in the rain last night. It was in the 80's and pouring, so as soon as I stepped outside to get pictures my camera lens fogged up-that's why some of the pictures are a little bit blurry. They were only out there for a minute or two but they got soaked.
Last Saturday (Aug 13th) Nathan had his first sleep over at Grandma and Grandpa Rygmyr's house. They said he did a fantastic job. They went to a petting zoo where Nathan got to feed the animals. He would give one a cracker and say "you're welcome" to whatever animal it was. They went to the store to let Nate pick out a toy, the toy he picked out was a bowling set. He loves it, he has played with it every day.
As I said earlier, Nathan has wanted to help David with every project this week. Nathan needed his own size hammer ho help bend the nails. First he hit the boards, then he moved on to other things in the yard, like the tree stump we are trying to kill.
He tried the daddy size hammer for a bit, but decided it was too heavy.
Nate even wanted to go with daddy when he took the missionaries out. Nathan was crying and would say "I be a missionary too". It was really cute. And when daddy went to his golf lesson he told Nathan he would take him golfing when he is a big boy. Nathan came crying to me saying "I be a big boy now"?
Also this week, we have worked on potty training. Nathan has done a great job, only a few accidents. We told him at the beginning of the week if he did a good job we would buy him some pet fish. He got to go to the pet store on Saturday and pick out his new pet fish. Nathan decided he needed 5 fish, so we gave him his money and let him pick his 5 fish out. Now, Duck, Spot, Red, Poke and Corey Feldman are living in his room and Nathan loves it!
