The Grand Marriott Resort Mobile, AL.

David's unit had a week long trip to Mobile, AL. and most of the families went down too. We had a great trip. The boys were very excited about swimming in the Ocean and making sand castles. Tessa did not want to sit or stand in the sand, but she was ok being held in the ocean.
After our initial ocean excursion, we spent most of the rest of the time in the hotel pool. There were always lots of kids to play with. Nathan especially had a lot of fun with Ian & Emma McRae. Ian and Emma are like fish in the water and Nathan gained a lot of confidence in his swimming from them. He put his face all the way in the water for the first time ever! He played "chicken" with Ian and got dunked a few times, but he is ok with it now. I am so proud of him!

While we were there we went to visit the USS Alabama, an awesome battleship in Mobile. It was actually where the 4th CST was doing their training exercise, so we got to see David while we were taking out tour. The boys had a lot of fun running around the ship checking out all the cool stuff. The only problem was, it was super hot and I had to carry Tessa below deck. After the battleship, we were all to tired to check out the submarine. But we had a lot of fun!

The only downsides of our vacation, On Monday morning we had to take Tessa to urgent care-she had pink eye. Anderson developed a rash, I thought it was from his puddle jumper. Turns out the rash was actually Strep. He never had a fever or sore throat, but apparently a "sandpaper rash" is a symptom of Strep-oops!

That looks like fun and I am sure there are a lot of details that you could not include in here. Hope to hear all the details. G & G in Idaho
