Halloween

For Halloween we took Nathan to our ward Trunk of Treat. As you can see we had a family theme. I was scuba Audrey, Nathan was my oxygen tank, and David was the FIERCE shark! Despite the look on David's face, we had a lot of fun!

Kitchen counters!

Everyone wants to help!
Removing the formica
The rubber adhesive

With the grout on

With the cement on.

There done! And wonderful!

At the park

Nathan loves going to the park. Last Week David and I took him and let him swing in the big boy swing. He had a lot of fun swinging high, high, high.

Sunday best!

Today I decide that Nathan was finally big enough to wear his big boy tie to church. He looked so cute, and he got a lot of compliments on it. Also, Nathan had to go to the doctor on Monday (for shots-boo) and he weighed exactly 21lbs. New tricks Nathan is doing now include clapping and standing without holding on to anything. It is fun to watch him do both.

Silly Nathan

Our friend Brent showed Nathan how to do this a few weeks ago, now he likes doing it all the time.

Nathan reading

Nathan is 10 months old now, and he decided to show us what a genius he is. Tonight before he went to bed Nathan read us a story. As you can tell from the book it is a very intricate story with lots of unexpected twists and turns. It had us on the edge of our seats the whole time.
Also new with Nathan, one of his upper teeth cut through today! I think the other one is not to far behind, that is good because Nathan wants to eat table food and until now he hasn't been able to eat to many different kinds.

He found them...

Up until now Nathan didn't even care about the stairs. He has rarely ventured over to them, and when has he just turns around and crawls back to the living room. Well not tonight! Today when we got back from shopping I put his bag of clothes on the stairs. A little bit later, Nathan was chasing Boris around and that brought him to- the stairs. I heard him playing with the bag of clothes and I figured that Boris knocked it down when he was running away from Nate. NOPE! Nathan climbed the stairs. He was up on the third stair, just pulling clothes out of the bag. He was pretty proud of himself. When I caught him he turned to me and smiled really big. I guess we have to get a gate for our stairs now.
