Primary program

Several people tell me each year, that they are looking forward to the Primary program, because they love watching the Rygmyr kids. Well, this year, the Rygmyr kids didn't disappoint...well at least AJ didn't.
This year Nathan did a great job, he sat on the stand reverently and patiently and gave his part without any problems. Anderson's teachers had asked me the week before if I could send him with a drawing board to keep him busy, I did. Unfortunately, taking that caused AJ to cause a "scene".
AJ brought it up to the side of the stand with him for the song, to show me the nite he wrote me. We kept trying to get him to pit it down and he dropped it. Dropping it upset him and he started to cry a little. Someone picked it up and have it back to him and he showed me what it said, for the rest of the song.

New t-shirts

David's aunt Tacy sent new shirt for the kids. They are from Andrew Zimmern's production company where she is a producer. The kids love them! Thank you Tacy!

#LighttheWorld

The church came out with a Christmas service campaign this year called Light the World. It is to start on the first day of December and go up to Christmas. We decided to start a little early this year. The Shriner's that we buy our Christmas tree from every year had to move locations. They had posted on their Facebook page that they needed volunteers to help set up the new location, so David and I went to help out.
They were so glad we came. We helped put all of the support posts in so they could hang the lights. We had such a great time helping them. They all work so hard (and it is all volunteer) so they can give the money to the Shriner's Hospitals.
I am so glad we went, especially since this will be our last year buying form then before we move. I hope we can find some Shriner's in Maryland to buy a tree from next year!

Daddy at scouts

Daddy was asked if he could help out at scouts for Veteran's Day. He was able to talk to the scouts about different jobs soldiers do, they each got to try in his body armor and the part they all really liked, was tasing MRE food. After all that, a few of the kids had a push up challenge with him. It was a lot of fun for everyone.

Make up time

Tessa loves doing makeup...and she does such a great job!

Santa at the movies

One of the local mortgage companies was hosting a free movie for military families (we watched Trolls) and they had pictures with Santa after. It was so fun to go enjoy it as a family.
(And yes, it was game day...tigers won!)

Jump rope for heart 2016

Nathan's school (Kennesaw Elementary) participated in Jump Rope for Heart again this year. Nathan's jump roping skills have greatly improved from last year. It was a lot of fun to watch them jump and play together. They even let me jump with them some. At one point we had 3 kids and myself jumping together.
