David and I, in our quest to "do things" went to the Clemson vs. GA Tech football game in Atlanta. It was in the evening so weather was cool. It is rare that we are in the city as the sun sets, but it was beautiful. We had fun cheering the tigers on to victory with the Atlanta Clemson Club. It was a really fun date to go on!

Girls weekend in Boise
Carley invited me to come to Boise for a Blink 182 concert, so of course I had to go! We invited Sherri to come along also and make it a girls trip. We had so much fun! We shopped and ate yummy food and went to the concert (that was way too loud (( we are so old now!)), but the whole trip was awesome!
My trip out to Boise was a little complicated. My itinerary was: ATL-LAX-BOI. I arrived in L.A. with no problem. The restaurant I wanted to eat at had closed and was no longer there. I found something different to eat. They accidentally have me two meals. I went and say art My gate for the connecting flight and found someone to give the second meal to. He was a very nice man that was in the Dutch army. We talked for a bit and then he got ready to board his flight. I thought My flight should be boarding soon and looked to find they had changed the gate! I rushed over to the new gate and the flight had already left. Ugh! I couldn't get a flight to Boise until the next day and I would have to go through Seattle. I found out where the USO was and walked over there only to find that a whole bus full of Marines (130) missed their flight and would also be starting the night there. I found a place to sleep and laid down for the night. The next morning I headed back to the airport to catch my flight to Seattle. I made both flights and made it to Boise a few minutes after Sherri arrived.

Anderson James turns 5!
This was a big birthday for AJ. He was finally going to be a full fledged member of "The Boy Club". An exclusive club ( that David started when Nathan turned 5) for boys when they get to watch Star Wars for the first time. All Anderson wanted to do for his birthday this year, was have Eli over and watch Star Wars! So Eli didn't the night and the boys all sat down to watch. God thing AJ had his new Imaginext birthday toys upstairs that they could play with during the slow parts.
He took Batman cookies to school and was very kind, he wanted pink Batman cookies for the girls. On Sunday, grandma Rygmyr, aunt Kristen and Atkins came over for dinner and cake. We had a lot of fun playing AJ's new game, Yeti in my Spaghetti.
I can't believe my baby boy is 5. He is growing so fast. He had the most contagious smile and laugh. He is also one of the most stubborn and slowest people in our family. We love him so much!

Our littlest Little Warrior
Tessa started preschool this year at North Cobb H.S. Ever since her brothers went back to school, she had been ready to start. She got dressed with her brothers in the morning and was eagerly waiting her turn to get dropped off. When I took her she got out of the car and walked into the building with a "bye mommy". I was sad and proud at the same time. Sad to see my baby going off to school, but proud that I have such an independent little girl who can do hard things!
To make it even better, it was a thumbs up first day!

Dragon-Con
Grandpa asked if we would like too take the kids to the Dragon-Con parade this year. Since we have never been, we decided to go. I let Nathan take all of the pictures (I probably have close to 200 on my phone...), so here is Dragon-Con 2016 through the eyes of a 7 year old.
