Funny

David- "Nathan, what is a comet?
What is a meteor?
What is a astroid?"
Nathan-"I'm trying to think, but you keep talking!"

Baseball tough!

Showing me "baseball tough".
Nathan had his very first baseball game on Saturday (Sept. 8, 2012). It is coach pitch t-ball, meaning the coach pitches you three balls if you don't hit them, then you hit off the tee.
Nathans team. Nate is the second youngest on the team, all the other boys are already 4 (some are almost 5).
A little wet because they got caught in a rain storm, they didn't care at all.
Just before the game
So excited!
Nathan and Aaron Latimer
This picture makes it look like Nate was paying attention, it couldn't be further from the truth! Nathan was playing in the dirt and running around in the outfield grass, most of the time without his glove even on.
Getting ready for his first at bat!
SWING...
And a hit!
On base after his first game hit- off the pitch!
Way to go Nathan!
#16 (like Brian McCann)
What you can't really see in these pictures is how gigantic his uniform is. I had to pin the shirt in on both sides and his pants are rolled three times. It is a small, at least he can wear the pants again next year!

Great Locomotive Chase

Jennifer and I
On Saturday morning David and I ran the Great Locomotive Chase 5K with my friend Jennifer Webb. It was a great run, the weather was great overcast and cool. Jenn beat us (again) and David and I finished in 37:34, number 396 and 397 overall. It is a lot of fun doing these races with David, and he is a good sport to keep my 12 minute pace so we actually run together.
After the race!

Our deck is done

It has taken a while, since David has been out of town so much lately, but it is finished. I really like the way it turned out. At first I thought the color was to dark, but now I really like it. It is so much nicer to walk on and the boys love playing on it.

Together, David and I do good work!

Braves game

We went to the Braves game the day after Labor day with grandpa and grandma Rygmyr. We got there early and had some time to waste before the game. Whenever we go to the games we always park in the same parking lot (blue) and walk through the old Fulton County Stadium. They have all the bases bronzed and outlined in brick. Every time, David and I kiss on home plate before going in to the game. Since no one had parked on the bases yet, Nathan got to run around them.

Nathan showing he is three with Dale Murphy's number 3.

Nathan can be such a sweet brother!
Hugs

Anderson is (almost)1!

A "3" for Nathan, a "1" for AJ and a "31 for Greg Maddux. After that we went in to the museum and looked around in there before the game started. The game was terrible, Braves lost, but we had a lot of fun before to make up for it.

Smith Gilbert Gardens

On Friday we decided to go to Smith Gilbert Gardens. We have never gone there before, but it is right down the road from us, so we decided to check it out. It was pretty neat, lots of trees and flowers.
I let Nathan use an old camera, these first two pictures are ones that he took.
