David's promotion!

Hooray! Today David was promoted to the rank of Staff Sergeant. Nathan and I are so proud of him. He made E6 in less than six years, which is really good. I was able to be the one to put the new rank on him, and I gave him a good punch in the chest to make sure it stayed on!



After his promotion one of David's fellow soldiers smoked David. They dropped him and made him do push-ups and flutter kicks. While he was doing that they poured water all over him and then a whole bottle of baby powder. It was awesome!

St. Patricks Day

David had to work in Savannah this last week, so Nathan and I went down to stay with him. We had lots of fun. The weather was so nice, but not nice enough to go swimming. We even got to go to the St. Patrick's day parade, while dad flew over head in a helicopter.

A little Nathan update

Nate went to the doctor on Monday, and he weighed in at 14lbs 7oz. The little guy is getting so big. Here are a some pictures from the last week. He is so alert and active (mostly with his tongue and fingers). The last one is a diaper only picture so you can see his leg and arm rolls, and his chubby tummy.

Road Trip

We headed down to Punta Gorda, Florida for Nathan's Great Grandpa Gene's 80th birthday party. We had a great time while we were there. And I got to meet my daddy's aunt's and cousin too. I was a good boy on the drive, I hardly cried, so my mom bought me a new pair of pants. Anyway, here are some pictures of Me all dressed up for the party, where I was quite a hit.

My tongue

I have been crazy about my tongue all day today. It is so fun to lick things and feel the different textures. If you stick your tongue out at me, I will stick mine out at you!
