Our last day in Hawaii
We were so glad that daddy was able to spend our last day in Hawaii with us doing all the fun things! We started the day out swimming with Honu at Laniakea Beach. It was AMAZING! We were in the water and all the sudden a giant turtle brushed past us. Then a few more showed up, I guess it was turtle lunch time. We had such an amazing time watching the majestic creatures!
After swimming with the turtles for a bit, we got back in the car and went down to Shark's Cove to do some snorkeling. The water was perfect as usual and we got to see lots of amazing underwater life. After we worked up an appetite at the beach, we headed down to Haleiwa to eat at the food trucks, and have a picnic on the grounds of the Laie temple. And before heading back to Honolulu, we stopped and got dole whips. It was such a perfect day spent together as a family before the kids and I had to go to the airport and fly back to Maryland.

Finding things to do.
With the hiking trails and beaches closed, we have had to find a few other things to do. We have gone to the Ft. Shafter Library a few times, we snorkeled at Shark's Cove, went to Pearl Harbor, saw bullet strafing's at Ford Island, hiked the Tripler Ridge Trail, went to the Honolulu Zoo and Children's Discovery Center of Hawaii. It was so much fun to explore more than just the beaches. Of course, we also made sure to find time for shave ice!
