DC adventures with grandpa and grandma

We brought grandpa and grandma home from Alabama with us. While they were here, we went on lots of fun adventures! Grandpa helped us hang a swing in the front yard (more pictures of the swing fun to follow), we went to Arlington to find Chaplain's Hill, the George Mason and Thomas Jefferson memorials, Went to the senate building and found Senator Crapo's office, the capitol building (and toured it later with the whole family), the Library of Congress, Fort McHenry, Annapolis to see the (oldest in the US) State Capitol where George Washington addressed the 2nd Continental Congress to resign his commission and Benjamin Franklin's lightning rod still sits atop the acorn and to the US Naval Academy to see the sarcophagus of John Paul Jones. We went to a twilight tattoo for the US Army Band and saw the Iwo Jima memorial. We also went to the US History museum and the Philadelphia temple. It was a very fun and busy month!
