Primrose pre-k graduation

This morning when I woke Nathan up, the first thing he said to me was " it's graduation today"! All day he waited patiently. After school we played in the yard looking for creatures to put in the little terrium Mrs. Tallis gave to him at school today. Then we went inside to work on the gifts we were giving to Mrs. Tallis and Mrs. Sophia (happy plates). After that it was dinner and get ready to go. We got to the community center where graduation was held and I took Nate in to get him dressed in his cap and gown. He looked so big and grown up. Then I went in and sat down with aunt Llew and aunt Kristen and we waited for the graduates to walk in.

Nathan walked in so tall and proud, and I sat so tall and proud!
They started off with the pledge of allegiance and then the kids sang God Bless America. Then they gave the teachers flowers before introducing the graduates.  Nathan sat so patiently and when it was his turn he walked up so cute and shook hands with his teacher and walked back to his seat. After they presented the graduates, they kids all sang three songs; Zipity-do-da, going off to kindergarten and Pharrells "Happy".
It was wonderful! Yes, I do think it is silly that we had a pre-kindergarten graduation. But I'm really glad that we went, it meant so much to Nathan!

Getting ready for the big night.

Nathan with his friends Jake (on floor), Grace and Ben Chisamore. We had a lot of play dates with the triplets and with Keaton. We will miss them in Kindergarten.
Nathan giving Mrs. Sophia her "happy plate". Mrs. Sophia had a happy plate dance they would do each time one of the kids finished all the food on their plate. Nathan loves to do the dance at home.
