Today was opening day for KBA and Nathan had his first game of the season with the Pirates. Nathan did really well, he was still bored in the outfield, but he wasn't playing in the dirt or laying on the ground with his hat over his face. He got to hit twice, and both times he got a good hit. The second hit, he got out at first but not before driving in the runs that gave us the lead over the Yankees (unfortunately, the Yankees got to hit in the bottom of the inning and ended up winning 9-8).
After the game, coach Matt gave out the game ball, Nathan got it for his clutch hitting! It was awesome! First game of the season and Nathan got the game ball! He was so proud, and so were we! Great job Nathan!
