Merry Christmas

 After Santa came
 Getting their Santa presents
 LEGO pirate game
 LEGO Batman game
Little People airplane, I love how he could not drop his bottle to look at his presents.

After tearing off a piece of wrapping paper, AJ would put it in the garbage bag.
Tick-Tock Croc clock from Aunt Bonnie

Helping Daddy open his piano. Since I wrapped the piano almost everyday AJ would tear the paper on it and/or Nathan would tell David what it was.
Anderson was having a lot of fun playing the keyboard, he kept dancing and tapping his foot to the "beat".
 Brothers jamming!
Not the best picture of dad, he looks like a deer in headlights, but the other one made him look creepy (sorry dad).
Grandpa and Grandma opening their Christmas surprise, an ultrasound of the new baby! That's right, I said new baby! We are expecting a new addition to the Rygmyr family on or about July 01, 2013!
AJ wanted to drink out of the Coke bottle we left for Santa. Santa loves Coke-a-Cola!
Playing with the new Christmas Nerf gun Nathan got. We have had a lot of "ambush's" at our house since!
We are cat sitting for some friends and one of the cats likes to play a lot. He was playing with AJ and Daddy under the door.
Anderson laughed and laughed.

(I will put a few more pictures on after I get them off Grandma's camera).

We had a great Christmas! Anderson woke up a little after 8 and so I went and woke Nathan up. Nathan was so excited to see all the presents Santa brought down our chimney. AJ didn't really get the hang of opening the presents, but good thing he has a god big brother who is willing to help out.
We had presents, breakfast and games at our house before heading off to grandpa and grandma Rygmyr's house for more presents and food.  It was a fun filled day, we are so glad we got to spend the day with our family. Nathan loves all of his presents, he got everything on his list except a LEGO snowman. We have been building LEGO's since (and we still have more to build).
The best however, was announcing to our families that we are having another baby. We are almost 13 weeks now, it has been hard to keep the secret for so long, but well worth the happy faces as they opened the boxes with the picture of the ultrasound in it. We are very excited about the new addition, and look forward to finding out if it will be another boy, or, maybe a girl!

Nate's last day of school.

Yesterday was Nathans last day of school for the Fall. Santa came to visit the class, so the parents were invited to come and watch and enjoy the day too. We got there and Santa was reading the kids a story, all the kids quietly sat in their chairs and ate snacks and listened.
Santa read "T'was the Night Before Christmas". Santa also had a Southern accent, so it sounded a little funny, but what was even more entertaining is how it seemed as though Santa had never heard the story before, and was chuckling to himself as he was reading it.
After telling Santa that he wants Lego's for Christmas.
Santa and Mrs. G gave all the kids presents, Dr. Seuss books.

Here are the second period teachers with Santa.
Nathan, Mrs. G (Gingras) and Santa
Since David had the day off, we decided to take our annual trip to World of Coke to see the polar bear.

Nathan was so excited to see him, he didn't want to watch the movie he just wanted to go straight to the polar bear. As soon as he got up to him he gave him a big hug.
Anderson was a little more cautious. David had to hold him, he wouldn't get down.
Cute family picture

There is a new display, the "secret formula" is now officially located inside World of Coke. They have it behind  a gigantic safe, they only let you get so close to it, if you get too close an alarm sounds.
It wasn't a busy day, so we got to go see bear again, this time AJ was more curious.

Cute Nate

Behind AJ, you can see the first vault you go in to get to the second vault where the secret formula is.
Yep, I still only have 6 teeth.

Anderson was looking down at the bear, and it sounded like he was saying "teddy".
When we got to the tasting room, Nathan really had a great time trying all the "spicy drinks", until David made him try the Beverly ( a very disgusting Coke product from Europe). Of course Nathan HATED it, but Nathan also would not try anymore drinks David tried to give him after that. He lost trust in his daddy. Nathan really liked the blue raspberry Fanta from North America, I have never seen it before, so I assume it is a Canadian thing.
We had a really fun trip, and look forward to going again...next year probably.

Happy birthday Andrew!

Today was Andrews 5th birthday. We miss him so much.
Here are some pictures of the changes they made to the infant garden. These are from back in August, it looks so nice when it is all green. One of the biggest changes they made is that DNR (Dept. of Natural Resources) wont let anyone feed the ducks anymore. That is a bummer. It was messing up their migratory patterns.
We love each of our boys so much. Even though Andrew isn't here with us, he brings a lot of peace and joy into our home and we are so grateful for that.
We love you Andrew!

Letter to Santa

Nathan wrote his very first letter to Santa yesterday. Nate wrote "Santa" all by him self, we are so proud of him. You can see that at the bottom he also tried to write "Lego" but he got a little carried away with the "e".
He knows what he wants...

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

Yesterday we celebrated daddy's birthday. Happy birthday daddy, we love you so much!
It was such a beautiful day, the weather was in the 60's. We headed out to the Shriners Christmas tree farm to get our tree. The boys both wore their "my dad is awesome" shirt.
The Shriners gave the boys candy canes and AJ thought that was the best thing ever.
Nathan thought the Shriner camel was so soft and snuggly.
 YUM!
Smelling the Christmas tree to make sure it was the right one.
This is the one!

After we picked out our tree, the boys decided to play in the dirt.

When we got home and started setting up the tree, Nathan dressed up as Batman, so he could be "on the case" for anything we needed.
As a side note, we decided that it would be a good idea to replace all of our old ornaments that are glass with new ornaments that are unbreakable. Nathan and I headed off to the store to find some. Nathan was still dressed in his Batman costume. It was really cute.
