Nathan had his very first soccer practice today. It went ok. It was more structured than Nathan was ready for. They wanted him to weave through the poles with his ball. Really all Nathan wanted to do was just kick the ball, or pick it up and throw it. When they played "red light, green light" Nate understood that, and did a great job. He did get an awesome soccer ball and a t-shirt with a train on it, he was excited about that.

What's that?
Nathan has something to tell you-
Nathan is going to be a big brother! We are having another baby in September- the 23rd actually! Nathan is not very excited about it right now. He keeps saying "go away baby" and "baby is mad". We try to ask him why the baby is mad, but then he just tells the baby to go away again.

Disney World! (days 1 & 2)
We believed in our idea - a family park where parents and children could have fun- together.
Walt Disney
After a short nap, we went to Magic Kingdom.
We got to watch the "Electric Parade". Nathan's favorite one was the Captain Hook one.
Saturday morning we had breakfast at our hotel. It was a character breakfast. Nathan got to meet Goofy and Pluto.
They even played dinosaurs with him.
After breakfast we went to Downtown Disney again. Nathan got to ride the choo choo train. He sang "all aboard the choo choo train. All aboard. All aboard" every time the train went around.
Admiring the elephant and giraffe at the Rain Forest Cafe.
After another short nap we headed off to Hollywood Studio's, which I think was my favorite day of the trip. Our first stop was at the Disney Junior theater where we got to see all of Nathans favorite tv show charcters. Here is Handy Manny.
Little Einsteins.
And his new favorite, Jake and the Neverland Pirates.
And of course, Mickey Mouse Clubshouse.
Seeing Handy Manny
Meeting Lotso-hug-a-bear (who didn't actually smell like strawberries like he was supposed to).
Best of all Mickey Mouse. He just hugged and hugged him. Since it was the Fantasia Mickey, Nathan called him "Mickey good witch".
He has never seen the Incredible's, so he didn't know who they were. But he did get excited when we told him they were super heros. He had to show off his "big muscles" to them.
Leo from Little Einsteins
Eating his first Mickey Mouse ice cream. hen grandpa gave it to him he said very excitedly "for me?!".
After the longest wait in line we finally got to meet Buzz Lightyear and Woody! Nathan was so excited to meet them.
He saw this Buzz on the floor and dropped down and laid on it and was saying "it's Buzz Lightyear. To infinity and beyond". And Buzz and Woody just stood there puzzled that he would want to see the Buzz on the floor instead of the real one. It was really funny.
Then Nathan got to meet Sully and Mike Wazowski from Monsters Inc.
Sully got down to be closer to Nathans level, so Nathan sat down too.
Then they started playing together. Sully was tickling Nathan, and Nathan was loving every second of it.
They were jumping together and having fun. When it was time to leave, Sully stopped David and Sully put his hand over his heart. It was so sweet.
Nathan got to see Lightning McQueen and Tow Mater.
It was the best day a little boy could have!

Disney World days 3 & 4
On Sunday we went to watch the Braves play the Astros at the ESPN center. We sat on the grass along the third base line.
It was a really great view!
Nathan playing with his new friends, some kids from a little league team that were watching the game too. They were really nice to him and played with him, even though he was a lot younger.
After the game all the kids could run the bases. Nathan loved it!
He took his baseball with him and as soon as he could, he threw it onto the field. He did this a few times before the lady realized that to get him to run, she had to bribe him with his baseball.
Just checking out a Major League field.
Running for his ball.
Home plate!
The guy at home plate told him to jump on the base, when he did, his shorts fell down to his ankles. The guy came up to us after he finished running and gave Nathan a Mickey Mouse button. He said Nathan made him "laugh his pants off".
Nathan with his button.
In front of the 2010 All-Star game statue
After the game we went to Magic Kingdom again. By the end of the day Nathan was so tired he fell asleep in his stroller.
Monday before heading home we went to Animal Kingdom. Nathan got to meet Winnie the Pooh, Eyore, and he got to bounce with Tigger.
In front of the huge dinosaur bones at Animal Kingdom.
Playing on one of the playgrounds. Nathan just loved this one slide. he would slide down and run right back up to do it again, over and over!
Asking Jimminy Cricket "Where Mickey Mouse"?
