California

The best part first! We went out to California to see my best friend Sherri and her family. She just had baby Beckett at the beginning of September, so Nathan and I thought we would go help her. It was such a great trip. I think Nathan's favorite part was meeting Mickey Mouse ( you can tell by the smile on my face that I really enjoyed it too).
Nathan got to give Mickey a "high five" and he leaned in to give Mickey a kiss, but Mickey leaned in too, and it scared Nathan.

Riding "it's a small world". We rode the "Pirates of the Caribbean" and it scared Nathan, he rode the ride with his hand over his eyes and burro-ed into my chest. Eventually he fell asleep like that. When we rode "Small World" he thought it was going to be the same, so he rode half the ride with his hands over his eyes.
Dinner with Gina at Ruby's. I love Ruby's almost as much as In-N-Out, better shakes at Ruby's though.

We had such a fun trip. Keane and Nathan had a lot of fun playing together (not in the mornings though). They did as good as two toddlers can be expected to be. I wish David could have gone with us, but that will just give us an excuse to go back again soon.

The painting is done! I love my new house! I'll post pictures of the porch when we get it done.

Florida

We went down to see David's grandparents the last weekend in September. We had a lot of fun, and Nathan got to see his great grandpa that he hasn't seen since he was 6 months old. We went to lunch at Gene and Helen's country club.

We went to a Tampa Bay Ray's game. Nathan got the all-star treatment, they gave him a "first Ray's game" button, and a super hero cape. Grandpa bought Nathan ice cream in a helmet cup.
The Ray's play in a dome, so it was nice and air conditioned, and we didn't get wet when it rained.

New bike

Nathan loves his new bike! Noah, one of Nathans best friends, gave us his old bike. It is "awesome" as Nathan says. It is still a little to big for Nathan, he can't quite reach the peddles, but he enjoys playing on it anyway. Nathan thinks that Noah is the best. A while ago Noah gave Nathan a puzzle clock, and every time Nate plays with it he says "here go Noah" or "thank you Noah". Noah has also give Nathan lots of other cool toys and books. Noah always reads Nathan at least one of the books when he gives them to him. It is really cute to watch them play together, Nathan thinks Noah is great!

Here is a picture of Nathan in his awesome new boots. Sure they are rain boots, but he hasn't actually wore them out in the rain yet. He mostly like walking around the house in them, like they are his new slippers.

Here is Nathan in his sweet new hat that Aunt Llew sent him. Nathan really likes to watch sports, his favorite is baseball and his second favorite is football. But he has started to like golf recently too.
