Wreaths Across America

 We were able to participate in the Wreaths Across America at Arlington National Cemetery. This has become one of our favorite winter activities to do as a family. We were able to place a whole bunch this year. They gave each person one to start, but we were able to go back 3 or 4 times to get more wreaths to place. I am so glad we are able to take the kids to do this small act of service for those who died serving us.

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas

 Decorating our Christmas tree is one of our favorite family traditions! We love putting it up and decorating it. We put our fake tree up again this year also. I love having two trees! I am in Christmas heaven! 

Happy birthday Nathan!

 Happy 11th birthday Nathan! It is so hard for me to believe that you are 11. Just the other day, you were our cute little toddler who loved trains and wanted to go to the train museum everyday and watch the "ding dings". Then, I blinked and you were off to Kindergarten. Now, the planning has begun for your 5th grade graduation and you will be going off to middle school next year. I am afraid that if I blink again, you will be graduating high school.

Nate, we love you so much!  You are such a fun kid! You are a good friend, you are smart, and you have a big heart. When you smile, your eyes smile too, and I love it. Happy birthday my Lego loving brown bear.

Kids are super hero's too!

 There was an on base activity day for kids so I took AJ and Tessa. They had a lot of fun at the different activity and craft stations. But by far, their favorite station was the face painting. 

Girls Night

 The long awaited opening night of Frozen II has finally come! we have been prepping for it by listening to the soundtrack for a few weeks now. Tessa was SO excited to go, she and I got tickets for opening night with some friends. We loved it! Tessa sang along with the theme song at the top of her lungs during the closing credits. 

Nate's Birthday Party

 Nathan was so excited for his birthday party!  He planned a nerf battle at a local indoor playground.  They only do it one weekend a month, so we had to have his birthday party early. David took Nathan, John, Senya, Seb and George Henry to Badlands for an epic night! The boys ran around shooting nerf bullets for hours. After they were all run out, they came back home for some birthday cake. Nate requested a lemon cake with oreos, so I used lemon oreos in it. It was a hit!
