Nathan's 2nd grade pictures

We got Nathan's 2nd grade pictures back today, adorable!! All of the kids are growing so quickly and you can really notice it when you look at their pictures year to year.
Nathan was also named the Star student of the week this week. He made a poster all about him and his family.

A frog in my flowers

I was watering the flowers on the front porch and out jumped a little tree frog. I screamed! It startled me. I knew I needed to catch it and put it back in the flowers so the boys could see it. I tried, I really did. Lucky for me, as I was trying to catch it in a Tupperware a neighbor heard me scream (again) and came to help me. He caught it and put it back in the flower pot for me. Unfortunately, by the time the kids arrived home from school, the frog had moved on. Good thing I took a couple pictures of it.

Stone Mountain Pumpkinfest

We went to Stone Mountain with grandma Rygmyr, Richard and aunt Kristen. It was a really great time! So many fun things to do. We ran out of time and couldn't do everything, but we did have fun with all that w were able to do; treetop adventure, geyser tower, the Spookly parade and kids carnival, 4d theatre, popcorn, cotton candy and slushies.

The Great Locomotive Chase

I ran a 5k with Lance in Kennesaw this morning. I finished in 29 minutes and placed 4th in my age group.

New paint

One of the major things we wanted to accomplish before we put the house on the market, was painting the whole interior. We finally settled on a color, agreeable grey, and David took the week of Fall break off so we could work on it. To say it was a big project was an understatement! The ceiling in the living room is REALLY high. David did all the edging and I rolled it all. We were able to get all the rooms ( except the basement) done in the one week we had. It looks great, I wish we would have done it sooner so that we could enjoy it more.

Our last game at Turner Field!

We went to our last game at Turner Field with our friends the Tubbs family. We had such a fun time. We watched some of the game, had lots of potty breaks, ran the base and took pictures with the Home Depot tools. It was such a great last time at Turner Field!! Goodbye Turner Field, thanks for all the memories.
Sidenote: earlier in the day while cleaning out some stuff, I found my ticket stub from my very first game at Turner Field. I took it with me and got a picture with my first and last tickets!
