Proud parents

They had an awards ceremony at Nathan's school on Friday and Nathan was presented with not one, but two awards! The first award was for perfect attendance for the first quarter of school- no absences and no tardy's. The second award was for reading achievement- reading above his grade level! We really are proud of Nathan, he is a terrific reader (and learner in general)!
Way to go Nathan!

A great day too go to the zoo with your best friend!

AJ has really been enjoying his preschool. His favorite part of school has to be playing with his "best friend", Eli. After a day of school, they want to continue playing. Usually I bring Eli home with us one day a week and AJ goes to to Eli's one day a week. This week, school was cancelled on Wednesday so we decided to go to the zoo...and bring Eli.

Caricatures

There was a caricature artist at our friend Noah's (Shwartz) Bar Mitsvah. I think they are so cute, especially how he captured Anderson's mischievous and skeptical nature.

Snow White

Snow White (Mrs. Wood's mom)

Getting instructions for bobbing for apples

mmmmm, apples

Got it!

A kiss for Prince Charming

What a great class
Nathan's class read a bunch of different Snow White books for comparing and contrasting. At the end of it, Ms. Wood had Snow White come and let the kids bob for apples. It was such a fun activity. I am so glad I can be Nathan's room mom to be able to be there for all of these fun times.

How sweet

I brought cookies in to Nathan's class when they finished their weather unit. Nathan's teacher (Ms. Wood) was so nice, she had each of the students write me a letter to thank me. They were so much fun to read.
