Jami, the kids and I went up on Friday and enjoyed Chocolate World, then David and Brad came up Friday night and we all went to Hershey Park on Saturday!

While driving up to Hershey PA with the Jensens, I looked back at Tessa to find her doing her makeup in the car.....

Dulles Air and Space Museum
The kiddos and I drove out the the Dulles Air and Space Museum in Virginia today. It was incredible! I think I definitely loved it more than they did. They had the Space Shuttle "Discovery", a Concord, the Enola Gay,and a Blackbird! It was all so cool to see, I tried to teach the kids some of the history of some of those amazing machines, I think they got a little of it. As far as museums go, I think this one may be my favorite!

An Easter object lesson
This Sunday Nathan's class had an object lesson about the Lamb of God. Brother Bates brought in a new baby lamb, and Nathan fell in love! He asked at least 20 times if he could keep the lamb. Unfortunately, Brother Bates had to return the lamb to the farm he borrowed it from. I think that this will be a lesson that sticks with Nate for a while!

Scientist Tessa
Tessa wanted to participate in the Kensington Parkwood E.S. Science Fair. She came up with the idea of "Does the amount of water a plant gets affect its growth?" We are so proud of her for participating.

The Pickett's are in town!
Carley, Myles and their oldest son Erikson came to visit us and to see the sights. I guess I didn't get any pictures of them here, but here are a few from the adventures we tagged along on; Iwo Jima, Arlington and Cherry Blossoms.
