Amicolola Falls
We had a Saturday with no plans, so we decided to cross something off our Georgia bucket list. We drove up to North Georgia to hike Amicolola Falls. Last time the kids and I attempted it we failed miserably, we made it just past the reflecting pond. This time, success! Although there were plenty of stops on the way up, we all made it. And the view was fantastic!
We also had a great teaching moment. As we looked at grand waterfall, we noticed that the stream the waterfall flows from was a small stream, not a big river. We talked about small acts/things/people can do great big things.

Roller skating
We were invited to our neighbor Rowan's birthday party at Sparkles (rollerskating). The kids had a lot of fun learning to roller skate. AJ had the most fun, he was trying to break dance and skate.

Church pinewood derby
The big cheese rides again! We had the church pack pinewood derby, and Nathan's cheese car took first place again! He was so excited but a gracious winner.

Our fashionista!
Our sweet little Tessa loves to dress herself. She is very independent! Sometimes, she comes up with the cutest outfits!

AJ's art work
Anderson found me after church today and gave me the picture he drew in class. It is a picture of the "first vision". I love this drawing!
