AJ's birthday party

We had Anderson's birthday party today at Chuck E Cheese. AJ invited two of his friends from school, Ammon and his "best friend" Eli (Bellard). Eli's sister (Nathan has known her since Little Warrior Preschool) Madison came too. It was our families first trip to C.E.C., and we had a great time. AJ and Eli held hands as they would walk from game to game. Nathan played and played the Pharaohs Treasure game, collecting tickets. Tessa really loved riding the carousel- she rode it no less than 10 times.

It is hard for me to believe that AJ is 4. He is growing so quickly! Happy birthday little buddy!

Piano lessons

Nathan had his very first piano lesson today. I had asked two of the families in our ward whose children play really well who their teacher was. They both had the same teacher. Last year I tried to get Nathan in but she didn't have any available openings. This year we were able to get in. Today Mrs. Margaret came over to meet Nathan and give him his first lesson. Nathan enjoyed it and did a great job. I hope he enjoys it...more than his mom.

The secret tunnel ( of doom?)

Anderson, Tessa and I went to the train depot park today. After they had worn themselves out playing, we walked to the tunnel. AJ kept calling it "the secret tunnel". When we got to it he made sure to point out to me that it was "not the secret tunnel of doom, just the secret tunnel".

Girls day!

Anderson told me that when he is at school, Tessa and I should have a girls day while he and Nathan are at school. He told me we needed to decorate for it. So, while he was at school Tessa and I decorated the house and then went shopping.

AJ is a Little Warrior

AJ had his very first day of pre school today! He was SO excited about it. In the morning when Nathan was getting ready Anderson got himself dressed and ready to go also. We walked Nathan to school and then came home before it was time for him to go to school. That was the longest one hour! Every two minutes AJ kept asking if it was time to go yet as he walked around the house with his backpack on.
When the time finally came we got in the car. He said "I'm so excited to go to school" probably 74 times during the 5 minute drive. We got there and pulled up he unbuckled and had his backpack back on before the car for even opened. He would have walked straight into the school but I made him pause to take some pictures.
At pick up time his teacher said he had a great day and "he talks a lot!" Anderson kept saying how excited he was for the rest of the day and how "it was a great day"!
Tessa did miss her brother! The whole way to the YMCA she kept asking me "where AJ go"? She was so happy to see him when we picked him up.
