Grandpa and grandma pictures

We had a fun photo shoot with grandpa and grandma Anderson while they were here. True personalities really showed!

Andrew's 7th birthday

Happy 7th birthday Andrew! We are so blessed to know that we have you watching over us everyday. We miss you, but we are so grateful for the Plan of Salvation and know we will see you again someday.

There was another family there feeding the ducks while we were there.

Polar Express

The "Southern Museum of Locomotive and Civil War History" had a "Polar Express" night and we went to it with some friends from church. I dressed the kids up in their cute Christmas outfits because there was going to be a chance to meet Santa. Well, that was a bust! The "meet Santa" part was where they had a bunch of kids dancing and then Santa came out and said hello to the children in a group. There was no sitting on Santa's lap, taking a picture and telling him what you wanted for Christmas.
Good thing they had lots of other activities to try to make up for the lame Santa meeting. The kids were able to write letters to Santa, make ornaments, look at a Christmas train village and play in the play area. The kids had a great time, and despite the Santa confusion, so did I.

"I would like the Imaginext Space Station and Legos"

The kids each got a jingle bell from Santa's Elves, Tessa would not let go of hers.

BaseBowling with the Braves

We were invited to a military family appreciation bowling day hosted by the Braves. Daddy had school, so we brought grandpa Rygmyr along instead. We met David Hale, Roger McDowell and a few other retired Braves players. They had lunch for us and we were able to play a free game of bowling. We got a few autographs and had a lot of fun.

First Annual 4th CST (formal) Christmas Party

This year David's unit decided to have a formal adults only Christmas party. I was hesitant at first, because it is a lot of fun when all the kids get together, but it was a lot of fun!
The party was at the Lake Arrowhead Clubhouse in Waleska. We got to get all dressed up and had a great time with David's co-worker's.

O Christmas Tree!

As soon as the Shriners were back David stopped to get some boiled peanuts. After that bag was gone, we had to go back (David is one of their best peanut customers). On the second visit, we picked out our Christmas tree. The kids had a great time running around before picking out the perfect tree. Thank you Shriners!
Nathan found one that was just his size. He was disappointed when we didn't get it.

Being a good big brother

Natasha loved our Christmas tree (so much she almost knocked it down a few times).
