On our way back to our car I decided to take some pictures of the kids at one of the places I have been wanting to for a long time. I am so glad we did. I got some cute pictures of all of them (I did have to bribe them with lollipops but it was worth it)! These were taken outside of Wild Mans store in downtown Kennesaw.

Touch-a-truck
AJ on the school bus |
Nate on the school bus |
Tessa patiently waiting for her brothers while they jumped |
The Police car! |
AJ also really liked the police 4-wheeler |
Thatcher, Nathan, AJ & Porter all on the school bus |
Our holding hands train |
Police motorcycles |
These two boys will be in Kindergarten next year! |
Anderson usually HATES anything dressed up in a costume like this, but today he actually gave the bird a "high five". Way to go AJ! |
In the firetruck! Nate still wants to be a fireman when he grows up so he loved this. |
In the ambulance |

Tessa is 9 months old!
Happy nine months old birthday today little Tessa girl! You are such a delight in our home, we love you so much!
Tessa is very close to crawling. She will get up on her hands and knees and rock but then goes back to her tummy. She hates being on her tummy (which is why we think it has taken her so long to start crawling). Tessa is really good at rolling from her back to her belly and then sitting up. Still no teeth yet, but hopefully they will come in soon (and not one at a time like Anderson). As for now, Tessa is an observer. She loves to watch her brothers play and they often make her laugh- no one can make her laugh like her brothers!
Tessa's 9 month stats:
Height 28 inches (66%)
Weight 18lbs 13oz (62%)
Head 16 1/2 (8%) (small like Nathan's)
I made the joke to David that Tessa's thigh measurement was the same as her head. It isn't really, but it can't be too far off!

Aunt Heather's visit
We had a lot of fun with Aunt Heather while she was here visiting. Bonnie and her family came over for the weekend and we all did a "fun run" for the Guns and Hoses run in Woodstock. It was a one mile run and Bonnie's family did great. Nathan started off strong, but didn't finish quite as strong. All the kids got medals which made it all worth while.
Aunt Heather took Nate and AJ to the park in the wagon where they wore themselves out.
We had to "fix" our leaking washing machine. It only leaked once, so we must have fixed the problem.
Lots of laughs and smiles
and hugs
And another race. Heather and I ran a Chick-Fil-A race in Cartersville the morning Heather flew out. Heather ran a great race and took second place in her age bracket to earn herself a medal. I didn't do quite as good as she did, but I finished it!
And we dressed up as Batman!
We had a lot of fun with Heather while she was here. We are very glad she came out to visit us! Thank you aunt Heather!
