The other day we put AJ in David's old superman costume, and he looked as cute in it as Nathan did a few years ago. Anderson doesn't know who superman is, so he was calling it his Batman. It was really cute to see him running around in it with the cape following behind.
We counted Nathan's chore money yesterday and he had $28.50, and he needed $30 to buy his Lego Monster Fighter Castle. That meant he needed to do six more chores. I don't think there has ever been a little boy so excited to his chores. We had already bought the castle and had been storing it in the basement. When David brought it up and gave it to him, he was so excited!
Nathan's first words this morning when he woke up were, "it's the last day of school then summer vacation"! He was very excited to go to school today, mostly because they were playing in the water. The parents were invited to come for the last half of the day, so here are some pictures of Nathan on his last day of preschool. Next year he will be going to Pre-K five days a week from 07:45-2:15. It will be quite different for all of us. For now, we are looking forward to Summer vacation!
Anderson has figured out how to break into our child safety lock cabinets, and has found that they make a great places to hide. David and I have decided that Nathan is more like David was when he was little and AJ is more like Audrey was when she was little. We think that might switch as they get older, but for that we will have to wait and see.
