Today we got to go visit daddy and grandpa at Dobbins. The Braves Country Caravan made a special stop to visit the soldiers. While we sited for the Braves to arrive, the Army band played the tomahawk chop, take me out to the ball game and other baseball songs. Nathan thought it was really loud, but Anderson loved it! He tried 'chopping' and he danced to the songs.
After the braves arrived, there was a little time for questions, before the autographs began. We were able to get autographs from everyone that came: Jason Heyward, B.J. Upton, Mike Minor, Eric O'Flaherty, Freddie Gonzalez, Carlos Tosca and Frank Wren. All but O'Flaherty signed our pennant and we got Heyward, Minor, Upton and O'Flaherty to sign baseballs. It was a really fun morning. I am glad we got to go!

Grandpa and Grandma's visit
Grandma and grandpa Anderson came to visit us for Christmas. They got in on the 17th, after a long day at the San Diego airport on the 16th (the day they were supposed to get here). They came from Braedons Marine Corps graduation. A few days after they got here, we drove to Bonnie and Russ' house for a little visit.
After that, we came back to our house to get ready for Christmas, making treats and wrapping presents.
On Christmas Eve, we read the Nativity story and Nathan acted it out with his Fisher Price Nativity. Then, after Nathan made a pretty good attempt at reciting "Twas the Night Before Christmas" the boys opened their new Christmas pj's.
After we had Christmas at our house, we drove over to grandpa and grandma Rygmyr's house. While we were there we let g & g Rygmyr open their Christmas surprise.
Everyone was very excited to hear about the new baby.
The next few days were spent assembling toys and having Nerf gun fights.
And eating lots of yummy food.
The boys out for a ride.
Fixing the Jeep
Fixing the broken chair.
Playing at the park.
Assembling more LEGO's
and playing with the train
Aunt Heather and cousin Braedon got the boys new shirts. I told them we would take a picture in them, but that they wouldn't wear them out of the house.
And slept!
We had a lot of fun with grandpa and grandma Anderson. We are so glad that they were able to stay for so long. We are already looking forward to seeing them again later this year.
