Off to Florida!

We talked to Gran Rygmyr, and she was heading to Calgary/Winnepeg for three weeks. We decided we needed to go see her before she left and we moved. After Grandma Rygmyr got off work Friday morning, we loaded up in the van and drive to Florida.
First stop was to see Gran. Unfortunately, because Helen was leaving town she had to put Davis into an assisted living facility while she was away so we didn't get to see Helen much on Saturday during the day but we did see her in the evening. Sunday we were able to spend most of the day with her and even go visit Davis before leaving Monday morning.
Monday we drove to Legoland! The kids were super excited! They kept asking to watch the Legoland commercial at the beginning of the Lego Batman movie. We had such a blast there! The boys ride their first rollercoasters, AJ loved it and Nathan had a love/hate relationship with them. They got to have pictures taken with Emmet and President Business. They tried their best ninja skills in Ninjago. The kids all got their drivers license, we built a lot and rode Lego horses. The second day was spent mostly at the water park splashing, riding sides and floating the lazy river. We all had a great time at Legoland and can't wait to go back again!!
After two full days at Legoland we had an awesome beach day in Jacksonville! The weather was perfect, the water was perfect; in short, the day was the perfect way to end our awesome Summer of avenue before the big move!

4th of July with our cousins

On the 4th of July we drove down to Bonnie and Russ' house to see them before Uncle Russ left for his deployment and we move. We had a lot of fun watching them light their fireworks after a bit of swimming. On the 5th we spent the day just playing Nintendo 64 (Golden Eye) and swimming and in the evening we went to Dispicable Me 3 and then said goodbye to Uncle Russ.
On the 6th, we had a shaving cream fight (that had more tears than expected) before jumping into the pool to clean off. After that, we headed back to Georgia so Aunt Bonnie and the kids could drive to Montgomery to see Uncle Russ again.
Thanks Fields family for a great visit!

Now of to Alabama!

We had to leave our home at the Buttle's because they were headed to Georgia for the 4th of July. So off we went to Alabama to visit Ma and Pa. We had a great time on the farm. The kids got to ride on the tractor and lawn mower, they tried to play pool and made up other games to play on the pool table and we had a popcorn and movie party. It was a really fun few days and we are so glad the kids were able to spend some time with their great grandparents before we move.
