Cub Scout Day Camp

Nathan had a fantastic week at camp! He loved it is an understatement! On the last day, they invited families to come and participate in the archery, sling shots and bb gun ranges (Tessa and daddy were on their date). Nathan wanted me to do all of them and I did, with the exception of the sling shots. Even AJ was able to join us on the archery range. By the end of the week, Nathan was a pretty good shot.

Tessa's first date!

Tessa was SO sad that she didn't get to go to "you's ball" with David and I the other night when we went to the NGAGA conference. She wanted to go on a fancy date. David told her he would take her on a fancy date for her birthday.
Like a gentleman, David got dressed up for his date and came and knocked on the door to pick Tessa up. It was the cutest thing!! Tessa was so excited to go to dinner and dancing with daddy. (Side note, there is nowhere in the area to have dinner and dance. I called a bunch of places to try to find something- nothing.)
David took Tessa to O'Charley's ( real fancy...). They had some background music playing, so they danced there in the restaurant. I wish I had a picture of that. I'm sure Tessa loved it and sang her "dance with me" song while they danced.

Tessa turns 3!

Tessa was so excited for her birthday. She kept telling us that she wanted a "fancy" party. Then she changed it to a Minnie party, so that is what we did. It was all Minnie pink and Tessa loved it! Grandma and Richard came over and we celebrated Grandma's birthday and Tessa's.
We also had a birthday party with a few of Tessa's friends; Maddie, Madison and Eli and our neighbors Ramona and Rowan. Tessa was so happy her friends came to her party.

Summer fun

Nathan had been at cub scout day camp this week. While he has been away, we have been having some serious fun! Lots of splashing, playing and some raspberry picking too, made for some fun afternoons.

Date night, fancy style!

David and I went to the National Guard Association of Georgia conference this year. We went on Friday night and enjoyed the all you can eat prime Rob And seafood buffet, which was delicious. On Saturday, David had a meeting in the morning and I attended the spouses breakfast ( for 3 hours). Saturday evening was the formal dinner and ball.
When Tessa saw my dress she said, "you go you's ball"? "I go you's ball wif you"? She was completely heart broken to find out she wasn't going to get to go to the ball.
We tried to make her feel better And told her that daddy would take her on a fancy date another day.
