That's right! 7 years ago the sweetest little boy joined our family. Nathan continues to be such a blessing in our lives. He is smart, funny, helpful, skinny, energetic ( see previous adjective) and cute! We love him so much. He has grown up a lot this past year and we are proud of the boy he is becoming.

Cowboy day
In Nathan's class they have been learning about Lewis and Clark. His teacher told them that they could dress up like cowboys for school today. ( she said that they were America's favorite cowboys?)
Nathan decided he wanted to be a bandit, of course.

Also on cowboy day, we took treats in for Nathan's birthday. Since his birthday is during thanksgiving break we had to plan ahead a little. We brought in Minecraft "creeper" rice krispy treats.

LWP Thanksgiving feast
AJ had his Little Warrior Preschool thanksgiving feast today. It was a lot of fun to go into his class and see him with his friends. When I got there the class was singing and dancing, it was so cute. All of the kids told something that they were thankful for, AJ said he was thankful for... chickens. Ok. After that we ate our delicious feast.
I am thankful for this little turkey and his brother and sister!

Childhood friends
Mommy's best friend growing up came to visit. Carley's husband (Myles) had a conference in Atlanta and she decided to come along. Myles was busy all Monday, so AJ, Tessa and I went downtown and picked Carley up. We went to the Atlanta History Center and the Swan House. When it was time for us to head back home to get Nathan from school we brought Carley with us. We were able to spend most of the day together but before I took her back downtown we drive past the new Braves stadium ( SunTrust Park).
I am so glad she came and we got to see each other! I had a lot of fun.
P.s. we may have poisoned the animals...after Tessa and AJ fed the sheep and goats the leaves one of the employees told it's not too feed them those particular leaves because they weren't sure if they were poisonous or not. Oops.

Off to church
Occasionally we make it to church on time...and without tears. This morning was one of those occasions. Its a good thing too, because this morning was the primary program! Nathan and Anderson did a great job. After Nathan read his part he said "hi mom" and waved. That nut, he got a lot of laughs for it.
